After leaving SKC in 2004, I pursued my studies in Dunedin and Christchurch, earning a Diploma in Exercise Fitness at NZ College of Fitness. 

From there, I made my way to Queenstown to kickstart my fitness career, before opening a gym in Invercargill out of Stadium Southland. After selling in 2016 I made the move to Australia, where I landed an awesome role at Creative Fitness Marketing, where I continue to work today as a Senior Business Development Manager. Fast forward to 2021, after a year of lockdowns and recovering from hip surgery, I decided to embark on a passion project. I've always been a lip balm connoisseur and had strong opinions on what I believe makes a good balm…that's when re:the brand was created!

A friend had recommended a lip balm to me, I replied “I want to make my own. I’m going to do it, that’s my life goal”. And just like when I was back at SKC when I put my mind to something, I didn’t stop until I did it. After 15 months of researching, testings and many samples…. re:thebrand
launched on the 11th of August 2022. Our lip balms, drink bottles, coffee cups, socks and tote bags are now sold in over 11 stockists throughout NZ and Aus, with more to come.

I have always been a big believer in taking risks, doing what
brings you joy and hyping up those around you!
