Students have the opportunity to excel academically, culturally
and in sporting pursuits.
Our focus is on encouraging participation and involvement. Academically
our NCEA results are among the highest in the country. Our dedicated
staff enable average students to achieve above average results.
Excellence Assemblies and Academic Blues are just two of the tools
we use to foster the pursuit of academic excellence.
Culturally our students are exposed to a strong tradition of public
speaking, debating, singing, music and drama. Regular cultural competitions
and performances take place both in our auditorium and throughout
the region.
Sport is important at St Kevin’s with all students being
encouraged to participate, this results in a broad base of teams.
A range of sports are available including netball, rugby, hockey,
basketball, soccer, kayaking, rowing and softball. The college has
its own golf course, swimming pool, astro turf and gymnasium. |
